Yuugata Sui

-Name: Karashi-san
-Type: A kind of weapon which has two large sharp blades on the ends, and the handle in the middle is wrapped tightly with a blue cloth. It's about 1 and a bit of her size, and is extremely heavy. Very few can carry it other than her and her family. Small pepper bombs she makes herself.
-Attacks:
Basic Spin Attack (Tetsu-Tori)-
She twirls her weapon around, until it looks like a shiny metal disc. After that, she simply throws it at the opponent. She can also use this simply block some attacks.

Complex Spin Attack (Tetsu-Hebi)-
She spins her weapon in her hand, slowly at first but gradually getting faster, until the spinning hunk of metal can't be seen anymore. After this, there are three ways in which you can attack. Either throw it so that it flies vertically across the ground at the opponent, or throw it so that it spins horizontally at the opponent, or leap up and throw it horizintally at the opponent. Each attack leaves a kind of 'tail' behind it, so that it looks like a snake. This attack is rather hard to predict.

Nibai no Ha-
From the ground, either in front or behind the opponent, she jumps and flings him into the air with one end of Karashi-san, cutting him at the same time. Finally, in mid air, she cuts the opponent again with the other end.

Ya wo Kougekisuru-
She leaps into the air and positions one end of her weapon above her opponent, and throws it at him. This is easy to escape from as it takes time for her to aim.

"Pepper Whirlwind"-
She spins her weapon, picking up winds, and then throwing a pepper bomb into the the spining mass of metal, which causes the pepper to explode everywhere. The pepper can distract the opponent so she can run away. A move she has made herself and hasn't perfected it yet (She gets the pepper in her eyes, and up her nose as well... hasn't found a way to prevent this yet)

Description:
She has fair skin and wears her waist length hair up in a pony-tail with a white ribbon. She has a slim but a quite built figure, especially her arms. You can always find her with a soft expression on her face, carrying her weapon around everywhere she goes.

She likes to see people happy, as this makes her happy herself. She's only in a bad mood if she sees someone who are picking on people who are weaker than they are, and won't hesitate to defend the weak. Usually, children come to her for comfort and if they are in need of advice or help. She shows all of her feelings, other than her happiness, through her cooking. She's also very stubborn and won't listen to anyone else other than herself unless it's something that she thinks is either right or better than what she plans on doing. Sui has got a lot of patience, but when it runs out she gets as wild as a bull.

Sui's father was a not-so-famous master swordsman who owned a small dojo in Sendai. Her mother was a beautiful cook and was well known throughout the small city. She also had a little brother, Hikike, who was brought up to become the head of the Yuugata family.

Their father taught them both the Yuugata style of sword fighting each beginning at the age of 5. They both received their Yuugata Tsurugi at the age of 10 but unfortunately, Hikike began to develop a sickness, which weakened him immensely, at the age of 12 and wasn't able to function as well as he could.

Sui's parents contacted every single doctor they could find but none of them knew what kind of sickness had fallen upon little Hikike. Their search led to a doctor in Tokyo by the name of Megumi Takabani.

Since Tokyo was far from Sendai, and that both of her parents actually had some responsibilities at home, it was up to Sui to take her brother to Tokyo and find this Megumi to help cure the heir to her family's 'throne'.

So, when the sun was just peeping over the horizon, Sui packed all she had into a small horse drawn cart, placed Hikike next to her and set off with a roughly drawn map to Tokyo.

**Additional Information:

• She doesn't think too highly of men due to her experiences with them while on the road to Tokyo.
• Offensive comments about her cooking and how she cooks usually puts her into deep depression.
• Her weapon, the Yuugata Tsurugi, is a trademark of her family and is only recognised by it.
• She talks to Karashi-san as if it were a real person
• Sui says she's 19 because she feels the men treat her less abusingly as to when she says she's 17.

The Sound of Silence The wickety old cart trudged along the rocky hillside, as the sun slowly went down the horizon. Sui looked at her brother who was sleeping beside her. His lips were pale, and his hair was dry. She re-wrapped his blanket around him so that he was warmer and comfortable. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked up at the sky and prayed silently.

"Please" She began to whisper, "Please allow this Megumi to cure my brother..."

As soon as the sun disappeared and the moon was high, Sui stopped the cart and prepared a camp for them to rest for the night. She placed a spoon full of warm soup to her brother's lips. He stirred, then opened his eyes a little, shook his head slowly and went back to sleep. Sui gave out one last sigh before lying down on Karashi-san, preparing for sleep. She turned towards the direction they were heading for and noticed some lights up ahead. It was Tokyo.

"Interesting..." She said softly at first, then her words became louder, "Karashi-san! Hikike! Look! Tokyo!"

But only the sound of silence answered.
